United StatesOverall this was a pretty decent sunscreen. I have oily skin so I used this as a moisturizer. Don’t expect matte skin, but it did not exacerbate my oil production either. Enjoying using this so far.
United StatesIn the past year or so, I’ve become more serious about taking care of my skin and therefore, wearing SPF. I saw that this sunscreen was recommended by lots of people on social media. I learned that this sunscreen does not contain alcohol which was really important for me since my skin is on the drier side. It was available on yesstyle and stylevana’s websites, but I read reviews that it make take a few weeks or a month to ship! I stumbled across this website and it’s located in a state near me. I ended up ordering, but I did not expect to receive my package the same week!!! I was really excited to open my package and thought the purple confetti was really cute! And I appreciated the bubble wrap to protect the product and additional samples to try. I tried this sunscreen and it definitely felt great on my dry skin. It was hydrating but not overly greasy. There was no white cast and it blended in well with no strong fragrance. I can now say I would recommend it to others who are interested in trying this too! I also like that I’m supporting a small business that is AAPI owned. This product was slightly cheaper on the other websites, but it was worth it pay more for local shipping and to support a smaller business. Also, I learned that if you spend a certain amount of money, you get more samples and full sized products to try! I realize not living somewhat near where Glowie Co. ships might impact shipping time, but I was very satisfied and find this a great option for me to have access to skincare that wouldn’t otherwise be available due to where I live or wait time. In the future, I’ll most likely order more products at once to reduce my carbon footprint. Additionally, I learned that some Asian SPFs are much cheaper and have better filters in them than what might be available to us at the drugstore living in the U.S. During AAPI month and the pandemic, I encourage people to support small and AAPI businesses!
